Wow, that title was a mouth full. Lately I was plagued by the dreaded itunes login prompt on my Ipod Touch. A couple of days ago I updated some apps and the problem started immediately after I unlocked my Ipod Touch after that. Every time I unlocked my Ipod the login prompt would show up and I would have to login or close it out. Unfortunately it didn’t fix itself when I logged in. After a couple of days the login prompt was still vexing me with its repeated appearances. So I googled away and found the answer. To fix the login prompt make sure all of your apps are updated from the Itunes store. Then check every page of apps and look for apps that are in the process of updating. If the app’s update process is paused then unpause them, and allow them to fully update. This easy fix should stop the iTunes prompt from showing up unexpectedly.
