The Louvre Iphone App Disaster

Today the new Iphone app from the Louvre museum; where the Mona Lisa is kept was on the featured app page. This especially caught my interest. Especially since I have just read The DaVinci Code which kicks off with a bang when the Louvre’s curator is killed. To my dismay when I opened the app to look at art I found a horrible sight. There were naked people! My eyes were burned and I closed the app right away. How dare they rate this app 4+ when it contains nudity! Considering apps that have internet connection such as FTP apps are rated 17+ this app surely should e rated 50+ or maybe even 100+ this app is not suited for anyone that can see properly. It is a disgrace this “art” is nothing but disgraceful brush strokes. Obviously this “museum” has very low standards I mean how could these horrible pieces of art such as the “Mona Lisa” be included in an art museum? Who is this DaVinci anyways? I could paint something ten times better in 5 minutes with a set of watercolors. The Mona Lisa isn’t even the worst one there are others such as Michelangelo’s “The Slave”. This piece of “art” shows a man with barely even a shirt on. This art needs to be shielded from the young minds of the world’s children. These pieces of art belong in a storage shed not in front of eight million people that visit the museum each year, taken from the app’s description.

DISCLAIMER: This article is of sarcastic nature. These are truly beautiful pieces of art, and I think as many people as possible should be afforded to see these magnificent pieces of art. I truly recommend that you pick up this app (but I do think Apple’s approval system is inconsistency considering an ebook reader was rated 17+).  This is merely proving the point that people many times overreact while they are “saving” the children when they are really just limiting our freedom with other purposes. The word Iphone is Copyright the Apple inc.
