There are two reasons why I am refusing to watch the World Cup this year. This is not just me being an anti-Soccer American I assure that. I tried to watch Soccer I really did. I want to enjoy The World Cup but I just couldn’t do it.

The main reason I am not watching the World Cup on TV. I can’t stand the Vuvezelas. I no everyone has talked about this extremely annoing breed of horns. But they are seriously worth mentioning again. They sound like a faulty air conditioning unit coming out of your TV. I can’t block it out and has bothered me every time I have watched a game.

The second thing that makes me want to turn the channel is the sheer boringness of the game. I don’t know about you but if the scoreboard only moves once per game it loses my attention. Half of the games end in a tie anyways. I want to see a winning team when the game ends. The first three games of the Cup ended in a tie!

Maybe I am just ignorant. But I just can’t watch World Cup Soccer. I just wish they would figure out how to make it a little bit higher scoring game, and eliminate the horns.
